Fishin' Crane With Matt

Matt and I had the priviledge to fish a new section of Crane Creek.

We're exploring the possibility of leasing rights and guiding clients on this stretch.  So, while the high was only 26 degrees, we were very excited to be on new water.

The fish were hunkered down deep in the holes.  We managed a half dozen or so McClouds.

We got vertical to both do some fish spotting and get some heat generated.

Matt's part billy goat.....

 .....with rod snagging issues.

Success

It's a beautiful stretch that appears to have great potential.  We'll have to do some more "research" when the thermometer is above 32 degrees.
