Smallmouth Overnighter in the Ozarks

We passed through a town

and shuttled boats (Zac pointing to the lake level in 2008)

the skies were ominous

so, we hung out until the storm passed

Got on the water about 7pm, fished a little, set up camp and made a fire

next day found us targeting the elusive smallmouthed bass and gar

success was had

River levels are prime for both streamer fishing the pools and bumping crawdads through the shoals.  Hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy some fly fishing for smallmouth.
